About Liquid Asset Development |
Liquid Assest Development was formed in 2007 by Gregory Majersky based on pervious concrete filter research he led at the University of Colorado Denver.
Our Inspiration
The inspiration for this filter began in China, while walking over a small bridge I watched a peasant worker on a boat drink untreated water from a canal that smelled of raw sewage.
While no person in their right mind would drink such water if they had any other choice, poverty, thirst and perhaps a lack of knowledge about the damage that polluted water does to a person leaves many people of the world with little choice.
I also noticed that much of the world relies on concrete for various infrastructure needs. So global expertise exists to design concrete for various needs, as well as the mining, manufacturing, transportation and skilled labor already exists. Why not apply this existing knowledge and manufacturing infrastructure to develop a %100 recyclable, low per unit cost water filter?
